The mini-trial costs shall include the fees and expenses of the chairman of the mini-trial committee, as well as the administrative expenses of the Secretariat of CEPANI. The fees and cost of the chairman of the mini-trial committee shall be determined by the Secretariat in accordance with the amount in dispute and within the limits mentioned hereinafter:
otae= of the amount exceeding 1.2. The administrative expenses of CEPANI are fixed at 10% of the fees and subjected to VAT.
2. Each Request for mini-trial or mediation pursuant to the rules must be accompanied by an advance payment of 500 EUR on administrative costs. Such payment is non-refundable, and shall be credited to the Claimant’s portion of the advance on costs for mini-trial or mediation.

3. When the chairman of the mini-trial committee or the mediator is subject to VAT, he shall so inform the Secretariat, which will charge the parties with the VAT owed on their fees.
4. . The Secretariat may fix the arbitration costs at a higher or lower figure than that which would result from the application of the Scale of Arbitration Costs, should this be deemed necessary due to the exceptional circumstances of the case.
5. The mini-trial committee and the mediator shall only deal with those claims for which the advance has been paid.
