Professional experience:
After working as Counsel at the ICC International Court of Arbitration between 1988 and 1992, Erik returned to Germany to practice as lawyer. In 1997 he joined COHAUSZ & FLORACK where, besides litigating, he advises clients during complex contract or settlement negotiations or internal processes for securing and exploiting their IP in all technological fields.
Arbitration experience:
Since 1994 Erik has been acting either as counsel or arbitrator in national and international arbitration proceedings concerning inter alia licenses, ICT-projects, plant engineering, oil-exploration, outsourcing, distribution-, R&D, service agreements, commercial secrets and patent vindication, agency.
